The NFL’s oldest rivalry, between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, will once again highlight the opening week of the championship. The game is at the legendary Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.

Before Betting on the Packers vs. Bears

Green Bay starts a new chapter in its era, the one under Jordan Love’s leadership. They moved on from Aaron Rodgers and now have to enter a turbulent and possibly very frustrating period.

The good thing for the head coach, Matt LaFleur, is that he has a very good and stable defense, probably one of the top five or six in the NFL. Other than that, both the offense and the special teams will be problematic for the young coach. The special team has been an issue for the Packs for a long time, while the offense has plenty of young yet inexperienced talent.

The Bears had the worst record last season, having only three victories and 14 losses. But, we personally believe that all the sacrifices this team made paid off. Justin Fields is comfortable on the field and is much more mature now than in the past. The youngster became a lethal dual threat who also received a new weapon.

DJ Moore landed in Chicago, and with Chase Claypoole, the Bears have a respectable receiving duo. What thrills us is the talent on the defensive side, with the Bears having one pretty interesting bunch on the defensive team, and we can’t wait to see them hitting the field.

Fields comes in as the team leader, while Love debuts as the starter. That’s the difference-maker in this one. Until proven otherwise, Love will be a liability for the Packers, which is one of the reasons why we pick the Bears. The other is the home-court edge.
