The last time we saw the Raiders (6-8) their offense looked like the high powered Chiefs units of old. Las Vegas absolutely beat up on the Chargers Thursday night, building a 42-0 halftime lead en route to a 63-21 victory. The K.C. hasn’t looked like that this year, but they are still just a win (or tie) on Monday in the Raiders vs Kansas City matchup away from an eighth consecutive AFC West title.

Before Betting on Raiders vs Kansas City

Las Vegas has some extra rest coming into this game – playing last Thursday and having this a special Monday afternoon Christmas contest. What the Raiders would really like to build on for next season is consistency, as they were shut out 3-0 in a home loss to Minnesota the week before putting up a franchise record in points vs the Chargers.

We don’t know if we’ll see an Aidan O’Connell vs Patrick Mahomes QB showdown on Christmas Day, but the young Raiders rookie was dazzling last week going 20/34 for 248 yards with 4 TDs. Some people say Mahomes is having a down year, but almost any QB in the league would take 3,703 yards and 25 TDs with three games to go.

The Chiefs have won 10 of the last 11 head to head matchups with the Raiders, and few of those contests were close. That includes a 31-17 KC win in Las Vegas back in week 12 when the Raiders could not hold on to a 14-0 lead.
