Sure their draw wasn’t the most difficult – facing a division foe the Giants for the third time and battling San Francisco with an injured 3rd and 4th string QB – but the Eagles have ran through the postseason and find themselves the -1.5 favorite on Sunday February 12th.

Before Betting on Eagles Super Bowl LVII

It’s not going to be easy to beat the heavily experienced Chiefs, but Philadelphia has momentum after a 38-7 victory over the Giants in the divisional round and then beating the 49ers 31-7 to win the NFC. Sure San Francisco was down to essentially no QB, but that’s still a solid offensive showing from the Eagles against the league’s #1 defense.

Kansas City has a big experience advantage here playing in the Super Bowl for the third time in the last four years, but the Eagles and 2nd year coach Nick Sirianni were at least able to get their playoff feet wet last year in a wild card loss to the Bucs.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was named the NFL MVP this week, but the argument could be made that Eagles signal caller Jalen Hurts was just as valuable. The Eagles lost both of the games he missed with injury this season, so have gone 16-1 with him in the lineup.

Philadelphia Super Bowl LVII Prediction

Kansas City looks like the play, but one reason the Chiefs were able to beat the Bengals is because of their pass rush and Hurts is a much more mobile QB than Joe Burrow. If Philadelphia can get their vaunted run game going and chew up clock then it doesn’t matter how great Mahomes is because he won’t be on the field.
