Injuries play a big part in Tuesday’s WVU vs TCU matchup as the Horned Frogs are without their best player Mike Miles, Jr. (knee) and could also be missing starting C Eddie Lampkin, Jr. West Virginia won 74-65 on January 18th at home, their fourth win in the last five head to head matchups.

Before Betting on West Virginia vs TCU

West Virginia comes into this game with momentum off an 80-77 victory over #15 Auburn on Saturday. That’s the third win in the last four for the Mountaineers, who had lost five in a row prior to that and are just 2-6 in Big 12 play.

WVU has a great chance to tally another conference win on Tuesday even on the road as TCU is without Miles, Jr’s 18.1 ppg as well as the interior presence of the 6’11, 260 pound Lampkin. The Horned Frogs suffered an 81-74 loss at Mississippi State after Miles hyperextended his knee just 4 minutes into the game. Damon Baugh did step up with 19 points in that game, but TCU is going to have to find some depth in this spot.

West Virginia vs TCU Prediction & Pick

TCU is 10-2 at home this season but they suffer a huge blow with Miles, Jr. and possibly Lampkin out of this game. West Virginia is starting to play better led by G Erik Stevenson who had 31 points over the weekend and a 16/10/4 game vs. Texas Tech prior to that.
