The Moment of Truth

This is the best possible game to see the Browns’ capabilities. Both mental and physical. They are facing arguably the best team in the league, with their backs against the wall, having no other option but to win. If they lose, the playoffs will be out of reach. However, if they win, the AFC North title is pretty near.

Cleveland played against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night, losing what should have been an easy win in the end. The final result was 16-14, with Daniel Carlson hitting a walk-off 48-yard FG.

In the moments when needed the most, Brown’s offense disappeared stopped. Instead of winning the first down and securing a victory, Nick Chubb took just seven yards on three carries, and the Browns punted the football. We need to say that Nick Mullens started at QB, because both Chase Keenum and Baker Mayfield were ruled out. He did a solid job with 147 passing yards for a TD. Chubb ran 23 times for one TD.

Packers Heating Up

Aaron Rodgers is back in the MVP conversation, despite many forgetting about the reigning winner of this award. His Packs are speeding up, and they are showing excellent performances right now. GB has three wins in a row, with the last one against the Ravens on the road, 31-30.

Rodgers threw for 268 yards, and three touchdowns, connecting with Aaron Jones, Davante Adams, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the endzone. The latter one had 98 receiving yards. AJ Dillon added on rushing score too.

The offense is simply harassing the rivals’ defenses, with the Packers scoring 112 points over the past three games. We can say that the defensive unit is a bit relaxed these days, but that will change if some of the players get back before the playoffs.

Head to Head – Long Time No See

The last meeting between these interconference rivals was in 2017, when Packers defeated the Browns in Cleveland, 27-21, after OT. By the way, Green Bay has three straight victories versus the Browns.

NFL Picks Today

According to all the relevant news and sources, Mayfield should play this one. Though, we need to say that he won’t be too much of help against the raging Packs, who recently hit the turbo button. Rodgers is slicing the rivals, and the hosts seem so diverse in the attack that we really don’t see them losing this matchup.
