Georgia (13-5) has lost two of their last three conference games, but to be fair those came against then #5 Tennessee as a +8 point underdog and most recently on Saturday against then #8 Kentucky when getting +13.5 points. The Bulldogs are back home and are favored for the first time in three games when they host LSU (10-7). The Tigers have also lost two of their last three so both of these programs are hurting for an SEC victory.

Before Betting on LSU vs Georgia NCAAB

Georgia will have to ride the momentum of a moral victory on Saturday in Lexington, where they were down by as many as 28 points before rallying to a respectable 105-96 loss to Kentucky. That was the highest point total of the year for the Bulldogs led by 34 from Jabri Abdur-Rahim and another 22 from Silas Demary Jr.

Kentucky is the highest scoring team in the country and run an incredibly fast pace so it’s no surprise that Georgia put up so many points last Saturday, but there are signs that this offense is in a bit of a groove. Abdur-Rahim has 21+ points in two of his last three while Damary Jr. has 13+ in three straight. LSU has allowed 80+ points in two of their last three despite having a top 25 defense in opponents field goal shooting percentage (39.7).

LSU has its work cut out for them on Wednesday night considering Georgia has gone 10-1 at Stegeman Coliseum this year while the Tigers have just one true road win. LSU had won four in a row including a win at Texas A&M as +11.5 underdogs when they held the Aggies to 53 points, but the Tigers find themselves needing a win with visits to Alabama and Tennessee coming up shortly.

LSU vs Georgia NCAAB Prediction & Pick

This game all depends on if LSU’s defense can rediscover itself. With the way Georgia’s dynamic scoring duo of Abdur-Rahim and Damary Jr. are playing over the last three games the odds aren’t in the Tigers favor.

Pick: Georgia +3.5
