Texas (13-5) and #11 Oklahoma (15-3) will meet up two more times in the regular season – as members of the Big 12 at least as each is headed to the SEC next season. OU has played three of their last four games on the road, so they’ll be ready to get back to the Lloyd Noble Center where they are 11-0 on the season. Texas also likes their chances at the upset though as winners of five straight in the series.

Before Betting on Longhorns vs Oklahoma NCAAB

We know these two teams have a great rivalry on the football field, but they’ve played some pretty great basketball games over the last few seasons as well. The Longhorns have taken five straight in the series, but four of those contests were decided by four points or less.

If the Longhorns want to cover the +5 and keep this another tight contest, they’ll have to avoid the emotional letdown that could come after Saturday’s 75-73 win over then #9 Baylor. The game was in Austin and Texas was a -3 point favorite, but Tyrese Hunter’s layup with 0.1 left to beat a top 10 team is still exciting. The Longhorns needed the victory too after dropping three of their previous four.

Oklahoma has had a couple of tough road losses this month at TCU (80-71) and Kansas (78-66), but they put their troubles away from Norman behind them with a tough 69-65 win at Cincinnati on Saturday. Now the Sooners put their home prowess on the line and try to win one last Big 12 matchup with Texas on their own court. The Longhorns are a good shooting team, but OU has a stifling defense that gives up just 65.1 ppg which – along with a frenzied crowd – could make points hard to come by for Texas.

Texas vs Oklahoma NCAAB Prediction & Pick

This should be a lower scoring affair, and with the way these two teams have played it so close lately – along with the Longhorns’ five game win streak in the series taking the points seems a given.
