A highly anticipated AFC North matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers takes place this Sunday afternoon.

Before Betting on Steelers vs. Browns

Mike Tomlin and his boys are again in the playoff race, and despite all the predictions, it seems that the Steelers have a postseason quality. However, they are less confident than in the past. Even with six wins in the opening nine weeks, their numbers are pretty low. For instance, the franchise from the Heinz Stadium allowed 800 yards more than they gained, which was unimaginable a few years ago.

As always, their defense is fantastic, and it is the only thing that keeps them alive in the playoff pursuit. Pittsburgh’s turnover margin of + 10 is the best in the league and the difference-maker regarding their record. It is why the Steelers allowed more yards than they gained, with them constantly taking the ball over from the rivals on their side of the field.

The Cleveland Browns haven’t had luck in the last 12 months. Deshaun Watson ended the season with a shoulder injury that forced him to undergo surgery, leaving his team to struggle and to look for a miracle over the next few weeks. Yes, the Browns are 6-3, but without Watson, the identity of the crew will change.

A massive pressure is on the backup QB PJ Walker to step up and do something he wasn’t planned for. After beating the Baltimore Ravens with the last-second field goal, fans were euphoric during the week. Yet, when Watson’s injury was revealed, it deflated the atmosphere.

The line for the total number of points is set at 33, which, in our opinion, is too high, even though we rarely see this number in the total column. The Browns will be even more focused on heavy running without their starting quarterback. On the other hand, the Steelers constantly have problems in recording and producing yards. That’s why we expect to see a lot of action in the middle of the field with just a few scoring plays.
