Colts In Solid Form

The Indianapolis Colts have recovered from a subdued start to the NFL season by winning their last three games. The Colts opened the season with a 27-20 defeat against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but since that disappointment they have improved immeasurably. Their last three wins have come against the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets and Chicago Bears.

The latter of those was their last game in the NFL, and they ran out 19-11 winners over the Bears. It was an excellent performance from the Colts as they managed to inflict a first defeat of the season on the Bears. Phillip Rivers completed 190 passing yards in the win, while he also threw one touchdown. Mo Alie-Cox scored the touchdown in the win for the Colts.

They led from the opening quarter against the Bears, as they outscored them 7-0 in the opener, before increasing that with a 6-3 advantage in the second. There was no doubting who was going to win the game after the third quarter as the Colts added another three points to their tally. The Bears tried to rally in the fourth, but it was too little too late for them.

Browns Improving Every Week

The Cleveland Browns have started the season in a very similar patter to the Colts, as they also lost on the opening day of the season. That first loss of the campaign was a huge one against the Baltimore Ravens, as they lost 38-6. However, since then, the Browns have been much better and have enjoyed three huge victories on the bounce.

The first of those was a 35-30 success over the Cincinnati Bengals, before a 34-20 success over Washington followed that. Their last game in the NFL was possibly their best performance of the season to date, as they triumphed over the Dallas Cowboys with a 49-38 scoreline. Baker Mayfield completed 165 passing yards in that victory, while Kareem Hunt scored two touchdowns.

Browns vs Colts Recent Meetings

The Browns don’t have the best record against the Colts, as their only win in this fixture in the past 20 years came back in 2011. Since the start of the millennium, the Colts have won seven of the eight meetings between the two sides.

Indianapolis Colts @ Cleveland Browns Picks

This should be an entertaining fixture in the NFL as both of these teams have been improving every week. However, the Browns were dominant last time out and they will be full of confidence going into this.
