Tottenham lost last weekend, meaning they need to beat Crystal Palace this Saturday afternoon. The Spurs are in danger of losing the pace with Aston Villa in the Champions League race, which is why three points are imperative here. Palace is eight points away from the relegation zone, yet not safe at all. Therefore, they, too, need to stay unbeaten.

Before Betting on Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace

The Spurs have pretty much all of their players healthy now. Two weeks without playing were beneficial for Ange Postecoglou, and we can say that the postponed match against Chelsea (due to the Blues’ EFL Cup finals) came in the best possible moment.

Tottenham lost the previous encounter against Wolves in London, 1-2. It was the fourth straight with both teams scoring at least three goals, and that’s something usual for Tottenham’s matches. When playing at home, they scored 26 times and allowed 18 goals in 13 Premier League appearances.

Palace defeated Burley 3-0 last weekend, but things weren’t as easy as you might think upon looking at the final result. The Eagles struggled to break rivals, and only after the Clarets’ red card did we see the home unit scoring goals and winning three points.

Though, Palace is terrible away from Selhurst Park, with them failing to win in the past eight straight contests, including the FA Cup. On five occasions, they lost while posting three ties during the stretch as well. It is interesting that Palace failed to score only twice throughout these eight meetings.

The Spurs are a better team than Palace, and we strongly believe in that. Yet, that’s not the only reason why to bet on the hosts here, because we have Palace’s poor results away from their home. These two facts are all we need to pick Tottenham here.
