The Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong vs. Marat Grigorian at ONE 165 in Tokyo on January 28 is going to be the sixth time these two arch-rivals fight. Sitthichai leads the all-time series 4-1, but in their most recent duel, it was Grigorian who won. Who’s going to win this coming weekend?

The ONE 165 odds suggest it’s going to be Grigorian again, but we call for caution. To see why his rival might win, just keep on reading our Sitthichai vs. Grigorian prediction.

Before Betting on Sitthichai vs. Grigorian ONE 165 Fight

Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong is 128-34-5 in his kickboxing career, the peak of which he reached a few years ago when he was the Glory champion of the world. From there, he moved to ONE Championship, where he reached the Final of the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World GP two years ago.

Unfortunately for him, Chingiz Aliazov stopped him with a win by points. Sitthichai bounced back straight away, beating Mohammed Boutasaa in his next fight, then doing the same against Eddie Abasolo.

In his most recent fight – in September 2023 – he suffered a surprising loss to Mohammad Siasarani. Now, he’s looking to bounce back again, but it won’t be easy because he’s locking horns with one of the best kickboxers of this generation.

Marat Grigorian’s record is 66-13-1-1, with a couple of wins against real royalty of the sport. For example, he’s one of the few fighters to beat Superbon Banchamek by a knockout. Another guy who did the same is Sitthichai.

He also has a win over Chingiz Allazov, although it happened more than a decade ago. The two met again last year in the ONE Featherweight title fight, but this time around, Allazov won by decision.
