Sevilla is after its seventh Europa League title, but across the pitch, they have one of the biggest coaching minds in history -Jose Mourinho and AS Roma.

Before Betting on Sevilla vs. AS Roma

The Spaniards are the rulers of the Europa League and have six titles in this competition. They love playing here and feel extremely comfortable in any given position. Rojoblancos eliminated Juventus in the semis, looking very confident and fired up.

Jose Luis Mendilibar turned the situation in the team upside down after taking over the head coaching duties, making Sevilla incredibly efficient. There were just a few games in which they haven’t netted at least twice, and that’s a massive change compared to the performances before the New Year.

Jose Mourinho is on the path to becoming another Roman god. If he wins the Europa League, the Portuguese will become the biggest name in Roma’s history. The Special One has problems with several players injured, but we are sure he knows how to cover up this handicap.

Roma’s performances throughout the campaign have been utterly inconsistent. Yet in the moments when the future was on the line, like, for example, in Leverkusen, Mourinho and his tactics stepped up to turn Roma into a fortress.

Despite Sevilla’s solid offensive productivity, we don’t expect to see Medilibar setting up an aggressive game plan, which would pressure Roma. That would be very risky because he has Mourinho on the other side. The Special One will for sure cement his defense, and all this will result in a low efficiency – two goals at most.
