The first of three graded stakes races on the Saratoga card on Thursday is the G3 Pennine Ridge Stakes. Run over 1 1/6 miles on the turf, West End Kid will headline the betting. However, Noble Destiny could be an interesting chance for the William Mott stable.

The Kingman colt is yet to win in two efforts this season, but produced a much better finishing effort on his latest start when second in an allowance race at Keeneland. Has track experience to his name after finishing second at Saratoga on debut.

The G2 Intercontinental Stakes is due off at 4:27 PM ET, with a field of ten going to post on the turf, with a distance of five furlongs being covered. Gratefully is one of the most exciting runners on Thursday’s card, and the Robert Falcon-trained filly could maintain her unbeaten record under rules.

The Laoban filly has won on all five starts, and was dazzling on her latest start when winning the Wishing Well Stakes, achieving an Equibase rating of 110 in the process. She has already shown she handles Saratoga, breaking her maiden at the track last August.

The feature on Thursday is the G2 Belmont Gold Cup, which has attracted a field of eight runners. A marathon two-mile distance will be covered on the turf, with Corruption likely to be a hot favorite for the Mark Casse team.

However, European-bred runners have dominated this race. Therefore, multiple-time stakes winner Fleetfoot could be overpriced. The runner has won over hurdles and on the flat over longer distances, and at +1200, he looks a standout chance at Saratoga.

Pick
Fleetfoot (+1200)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000
