Event Preview

High-quality action is set for the DP World Tour this weekend, as The International hosts the prestigious KLM Open. This weekend’s event is also known as the Dutch Open, and it has been staged annually since 1912. The field will compete across 6,914 yards for their share of the $2.5 million prize fund.

Angel Ayora will be a leading contender on his return to action after failing to make the cut at the PGA Championship. The talented Spanish 21-year-old will need to bounce back after failing to finish in the top-ten on his last four starts.

Daniel Hillier has been very consistent in recent weeks, finishing T7 at last weekend’s Austrian Open. The Kiwi also achieved a very respectable T26 finish at the PGA Championship last month. Jayden Schaper should also be respected after making the cut in his last two starts on the DP World Tour.

Ewen Ferguson should be capable of a bold showing this weekend. The Scotsman finished T4 at the Turkish Airlines Open last month, and continued his excellent form with a T17 at the Austrian Open last time out.

KLM Open Picks

Guido Migliozzi could be a big-priced selection worth considering this weekend. The Italian won this event in 2024, and has looked back to somewhere near his best in recent weeks after finishing T2 at the Turkish Airlines Open.
