Why BetWhale?

Newly established late in 2023, BetWhale have quickly positioned themselves as a serious contender to the established offshore sportsbooks on the scene. There’s a clear effort to provide a user-friendly interface with a ton of betting options, while some of their banking options immediately set them above their competitors. There are some areas where they need to improve, so let’s take a look at the good and bad in this BetWhale review.

Is BetWhale Legit? 

While some players may have reservations around using a newly established brand, BetWhale have already forged a solid reputation since their formation and have everything we look for from a player safety point of view. Betwhale’s gaming license comes from the Autonomous Island of Anjouan. This requires them to demonstrate a secure and fair system for players, to identify players who may require problem gambling help, to report their financial ratios and they must comply with multiple other measures.

BetWhale Sportsbook Review

As expected from a relatively new site, the sportsbook experience is slick, and finding a specific event is an easy process, especially with the search bar which allows you to quickly find a team or an event. At a glance, we were able to see odds from 30 different sports and thousands of games, while building a parlay is as simple as clicking on your selections and they are transported to your bet slip. One downside we did notice was only being able to see two of your selections on the slip at a time before you need to scroll, something which could cause issues when drawing up a long parlay:

Although the overall game markets were impressive and the odds competitive, there are extremely limited options when it comes to prop betting. Unlike BetOnline for instance which has an impressive prop and parlay builder for each game, we feel BetWhale’s options are limited here. Some of the soccer games had an impressive array of player and team props, however, there was nothing of the sort available on the majority of the other sporting markets.

Live Betting

Live betting is an evergrowing market in the US and worldwide, but the Betwhale experience is basic at best. We did like the depth of market available in some of their live events, but there’s limited stat tracking and no live streams which sees them trailing competitors when it comes to live, in-play wagers.
