The Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors clash this Saturday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco. These two franchises are the most recent two NBA champions, and as such, this has been declared as the game of the night. The Warriors aren’t playing at an elite level so far, yet that doesn’t mean anything in this case.

Before Betting on Nuggets vs. Warriors

The Nuggets have five wins in the past six meetings, the most recent being against the Portland Trail Blazers on the road. They triumphed 127-112 at the Moda Center, with Michael Porter Jr. leading the way with 34 points and 12 boards.

Nikola Jokic posted a triple-double with 29 points, 15 boards, and 14 assists. The Joker is slowly taking over the MVP race, and we can say that the two-time winner is again in his fire mode. The Nuggets recently faced solid teams, beating the Suns, the Jazz twice, and the Lakers. Their attack is perfect, scoring 120+ points in the last five meetings.

On the other side are the Warriors, who also played last night, only in Charlotte, where they defeated the Hornets 97-84. It was the third win in a row for this unit, which is finally comfortable in the positive zone, with 29 triumphs and 26 defeats.

Steph Curry didn’t have his usual night but ended with 15 points only, but even like that, he had a team-high. Andrew Wiggins had 14 buckets, and Klay got off the bench to deliver 13. Brandin Podziemski had 13, adding six assists and boards each. The Warriors had 53 rebounds in this one, which was the key to their win. Green had a team-high of 13.

This should be an interesting clash, particularly because the Warriors play at home, where they can beat anyone in the league. But we don’t think that the Dub Nation would have too big of a home-court edge because of the long trip they endured coming back from Charlotte. That’s why we pick the Nuggets to win.
