Inter Miami is starting a new chapter in its history against the New England Revolution. And the reason for that is Lionel Messi.

Before Betting on New England Revolution vs. Inter Miami

The Revolution hosts Lionel Messi in his first MLS appearance, and we expect a cold welcome from one of the favorites for winning the MLS Cup. For the moment, Bruce Arena’s boys are in poor shape, not winning the past six contests.

After three losses in a row, in which they’ve scored only one goal, the Revs had three draws, at home against Chicago and two on the road in Atlanta and New York City. It is interesting that one of the better defenses in the MLS last year allowed three goals in three of the past four events.

On the other side is struggling Inter, whose head coach Phil Neville was fired recently. And how wouldn’t it be with the team sitting in last place in the Eastern Conference with 15 points in 16 games? Inter has five losses in a row in MLS contests.

However, with Lionel Messi’s arrival, things are about to change for the franchise from Florida as they now have a completely different situation ahead of themselves. We expect more big-name signings in the short future.

Messi’s magic is incredible, and with him in the lineup, Inter will be completely different. However, this will be his first appearance, and we aren’t even sure if the Argentinian starts the contest, which is why the Revs stand as favorites and our pick for this event.
