New England Revolution hosts DC United this Saturday evening. The two East conference rivals each have their own agenda before this event. New England is second in the conference and wants to make a push and try to reach FC Cincinnati. Meanwhile, DC is on the verge of the playoff zone, sitting in the play-in spot, desperate for three points.

Before Betting on New England Revolution vs. DC United

The Revs play interesting games and only one in the past ten didn’t end with three or more goals. Also, just two haven’t seen both teams netting, which is impressive, and the reason why everyone loves to watch Bruce Arena’s crew.

They are currently riding a four-game winning streak in the MLS, and are without a defeat in 12 consecutive league events at home. In each of the previous five MLS contests at the Gillette Stadium, this unit has scored at least twice, but also, the Revs conceded at least once.

DC United has posted mixed results lately, having two wins, two losses, and one tie in the past five MLS encounters. Wayne Rooney’s unit can’t catch any consistency, which is why their place in the standings isn’t higher.

Though, we have to say that DC posts better results on the road than at home, being the fourth-best away team in the East with 14 points on 12 outings. They have two wins and two losses in the previous four road trips, beating Inter Miami and FC Dallas while losing to Atlanta and Nashville.

The hosts are very confident at home, and score plenty of goals. We saw that United knows to handle pressure away from DC, but still, this game should end with the Revolution winning. They are superior at the Gillette Stadium the whole year, and any other pick here wouldn’t have sense.
