Derrick Lewis and Sergey Spivak highlight tonight’s UFC Fight Night 218. The heavyweight bout is the main event of the night.

Before Betting on Lewis vs. Spivak

The Black Beast (26-10) is on the decline, and that’s a fact. He suffered three losses in the past four events, all via KO. He would suffer a defeat against Ciryl Gane, then beat Chris Daukaus (also KO) before losing to Tai Tuivasa and Sergei Pavlovich.

But the former interim champ decided to finally do something and his looks before this battle was extremely different than before. For the first time since joining the UFC, Lewis looks decent. He lost quite a lot of fat, improving his body and gaining muscle.

Spivak (15-3) is one of the most promising heavyweights, with only 28 years and his prime yet to come. The Moldovan recorded five wins in the past six events, with the only loss coming to Tom Aspinall, but successfully recovered after that with wins over Greg Hardy and Augusto Sakai.

The Polar Bear, as the fans call him, holds wins over Tai Tuivasa, Carlos Felipe, Alexey Oleinik, etc. He is a very good wrestler whose fight on the mat could be the best in the division.

We really believe that Lewis put a lot of effort into this training camp. He really looks different than before, and it is a pity the Black Beast wasn’t this serious in the past. Our pick is his victory because Spivak knows to open his chin from time to time, and against Lewis, who prepared well for this event, that will be deadly. Odds are fantastic at Pinnacle, 3.02.
