The LA Lakers and the Denver Nuggets are in the West Finals again, and the two units begin their matchup this Tuesday night at the Ball Arena.

Before Betting on Lakers vs. Nuggets Game 1

The Lakers were better than the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in game, then they eliminated the Memphis Grizzlies and, at last, the Golden State Warriors, the current champions. Both of the series ended after six games.

The top two players among the Lakers are Anthony Davis, who is, along with Jokic, maybe the best player in the postseason due to his incredible contribution on both ends of the floor. Davis scores 21.5 points but has 13.5 boards and 3.4 blocks. LeBron is the top scorer of the unit, with 22.8 buckets per event in the playoffs.

Nikola Jokic is incredible, and his triple-doubles are nothing new when it comes to the Serbian center. The Joker has 30.7 points per game, 12.8 boards, and lacks 0.3 assists to have a triple-double average in the postseason.

Jamal Murray is next to Jokic when it comes to scoring with 25.8 points, while Michael Porter Jr and Aaron Gordon aren’t that efficient in the playoffs, but they compensate for that with defensive effort. Both had to wrestle with Kevin Durant in the previous series, and in the end, maybe that wasn’t noticeable when looking at the stats, but overall, the Nuggets won, and they did their part.

The Nuggets are very good at home, and they won’t allow the same mistake the Grizzlies and the Warriors made, allowing the LAL to steal Game 1 on the road. Davis won’t be dominant here and that’s something the Lakers have to cover up, and in general, the majority predict Denver’s victory over purple and gold in the opener.
