The LA Clippers visit the Golden State Warriors this Thursday night. The Dub Nation will have a tough challenge ahead of them, with one of the best teams in the West coming to tow.

Before Betting on the LA Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors

The Clippers lost in Minneapolis two nights ago, 121-100. This was the second loss in the past three games for the Clips, and interestingly, both were at home. The first was against the New Orleans Pelicans, 117-106, and it came following the tour they had through the East.

After three games this year, the Clippers lead the seasonal series 2-1. They defeated the Warriors at home on both occasions while losing to them on the road in the most recent meeting in San Francisco, 120-114. Each of the events saw both units scoring 110 or more points.

Golden State will have their head coach, Steve Kerr, back on the bench. He was attending Dejan Milojevic’s funeral in Serbia, where he spent some time and missed the most recent game against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake.

That one ended 129-107 for the Warriors, who won all of their previous five matches, four of them away from home on the Eastern tour – vs. Nets, 76ers, and the Pacers. In the meantime, we saw them beat the Suns, 113-112, with Steph Curry drilling a game-winner with under a second left. Against the Jazz, both he and Klay played well, combining for 51 points.

The Clippers are on a slight decline, while the Warriors look like a team that has been on fire recently. An additional advantage for the Dub Nation is the fact that they play at home, one of the most hostile places in the NBA. So, our pick here are the Warriors.
