Jake Paul returns to the ring for the first time since his defeat against Tommy Fury this weekend. The YouTuber-turned-boxer will be looking to get back on track, but he will come up against one of the most respected MMA athletes in history in the form of Nate Diaz.

Before Betting On Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz

Jake Paul makes his return to the boxing ring this weekend, as he takes on Nate Diaz at American Airlines Center in Dallas. Paul will be looking to avenge his first career defeat, which was suffered against Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia in February. That loss came against his first clash against a professional boxer, and he returns to calmer waters this weekend, as he once again collides with a former MMA star.

Paul has made a name for himself in boxing after easily defeating a string of former UFC stars, which includes back-to-back victories against Tyron Woodley. However, he has also been put to the test during his professional to date, as he needed all eight rounds to overcome Anderson Silva, which highlighted a different layer to his ring IQ after dismantling Ben Askren and Nate Robinson with early stoppages.

Nate Diaz will be his opponent this weekend, as the 38-year-old former UFC star makes his professional boxing debut. The California native made a name for himself in the octagon throughout his career, and he holds the UFC record for most bonus awards with 16 in total.

Diaz has been involved in some of the biggest fights throughout UFC history, but he never captured a world championship. In his only title fight, he was defeated by Jorge Masvidal following a doctor stoppage in the third round. Following a win over Tony Ferguson in September 2022, he announced that he wouldn’t be re-signing with the UFC.
