The NBA is entering the final part of the regular season. The Phoenix Suns want to climb up the ladder in the West and avoid the play-in tournament, while the Hawks want to stay in the play-in zone.

Before Betting on Hawks vs. Suns

The Hawks are without Trae Young who picked up an injury in the worst possible moment. Atlanta’s season is on the line, and their form isn’t great at all, losing four of the past five games. Truth be told, the Hawks had a pretty nasty schedule, playing the last four games on the road against Western Conference rivals.

Hawks met the Clippers whom they won, 110-93, before losing to the Lakers two nights ago, 136-105. The best player against the LAL was Jalen Johnson, with 25 points and a thunderous dunk, which could be the play of the season. Bogdan Bogdanovic had 17 buckets, while Dejuonte Murray had 13 with 10 assists.

As for the Suns, they had a meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers last night, winning against the team from the City of Brotherly Love 115-102. Over the last six games, they posted subsequent losses and wins, though four prior to this one were on the road.

Against the Sixers, Grayson Allen had his best night of the year, hitting nine threes in 15 attempts and racking 32 points. Kevin Durant added 22 points with eight rebounds, while Devin Booker missed a triple-double for one board—18 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds. The Suns had 55 boards, 15 more than the guests.

The Atlanta Hawks are on the decline, considering their form; they have been playing on the road for quite a while, and on top of everything, they don’t have Trae. Yes, the Suns play on the second of back-to-back nights, but still, they won’t have any problems beating the rivals and covering a 9.5-point spread.
