FIBA World Cup enters its final stage, and one of the semis will be between Canada and Serbia, with these two powerhouses meeting in Manila on Friday.

Before Betting on Canada vs. Serbia

The Canadian unit is in the semis for the first time, and they are already favorites to win. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the team with 25 points per game, having more than 30 in the past two, which were the most important for the Canadians.

First, they had to beat Spain to stay alive and progress to the eliminations, and after that, we saw them defeat Slovenia in the quarterfinals, 100-89. Dillon Brooks did a very good job in that one, frustrating Luka Doncic, who was later excluded from the game because of two technical fouls. The Canadian defense overall was solid in the decisive moments, imposing a hard and physical style that broke the Slovenians.

Serbia had an easy road to the finals. They won all three games in their group stage against Puerto Rico, South Sudan, and China, before losing to Italy despite leading 16 points at one moment. But that loss was beneficial for the Serbs, who ran into Lithuania in the quarterfinals instead of the United States.

The Serbs rolled over their rivals, 87-68, schooling Valanciunas and the boys, who were still hyped following a win over the US team. Atlanta’s Bogdan Bogdanovic was fantastic, scoring 18 of his 21 points in the opening half.

Serbia2.901.87 (+5.5)176

The Canadian team is more physical, but we don’t believe they can slow down Serbia’s transition. The line for the totals is at 176, and for us, that’s a clear over because of the offensive capabilities of both units. Shai and Bogi will dominate, and expect to see at least 50 points combined from these guys.
