The Falcons lost at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday, 18-10. Kirk Cousins didn’t start his tenure in Atlanta very well. One of the highest-paid players in the league had 155 passing yards, one TD, and was picked twice. Again, this is not the start you would want.
Atlanta had problems establishing the ground game, which is why this team posted only 89 rushing yards. Bijan Robinson had 68 on 18 carries and was properly beaten by the Steelers’ defense. Kyle Pitts was the only one who got a touchdown in this event, having just three receptions for 26 yards.
Philly had a tough game in Sao Paulo, where they defeated the Packers 34-29. We saw them digging deep to beat Jordan Love and the boys, which they did in the end. However, if it weren’t for Saquon Barkley, who recorded three touchdowns, we think that the result would have been different.
Barkley ran for 109 yards and two scores, plus caught one and 23 yards. AJ Brown ended the game with 119 receiving yards and a score, while Jalen Hurts had 278 passing yards, two picks, and two touchdown passes.
Falcons vs. Eagles Head to Head
The Eagles are better historically, having won 21 matches, while the Falcons have 15 victories. One game concluded with a tie. The last contest was in 2021, when Philly destroyed the Falcons on the road, 31-6.
