Uruguay and Spain meet in a key Group H battle. Both are seeking to win and advance after securing only one point in their opening matches against lower-ranked teams. Spain enters as the favorite.

Uruguay managed to earn a point in their first match against Saudi Arabia, but posted an otherwise underwhelming result in a game that they by all means should have been able to win. Closing out the group stage against Spain puts them in a tricky position, as they look to avoid an early exit before the elimination stage. They will need top-scorer Federico Valverde to come up big to have a chance at winning this one.
Spain's opening match 0-0 draw was the most surprising result of the World Cup thus far. They were unable to find the net behind 40-year-old Cabo Verde goalie Vozinha. Still, Spain hugely outpaced their opposition in shots and possession, indicating they would likely dominate a rematch. They'll aim to continue bouncing back against Uruguay as they look to win the group and advance to the elimination stage.
After a disappointing result in their first match, Spain fields just -185 odds to win this game against Uruguay. That represents a solid favorite, but not by nearly as wide of a margin as expected. While their early offensive troubles are concerning, the statistics favor Spain's chances. This a pretty ideal line to bet on with Uruguay likely to struggle to keep up with Spain in what should be a multiple goal victory for the Spaniards.
