The Storm trailed by 11 at the break and trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half. A 20-12 scoring advantage in the final frame made the final margin respectable, but the outcome was never in doubt.
Natisha Hiedman scored a team-high 19 points, converting three of her six attempts from long range. Flau'jae Johnson added 14 points and six rebounds, but shot 3-for-14 from the floor.
Following a game in which it was outrebounded 38-24 and outscored 50-30 in the paint, Seattle returns home to face the only team it has defeated this season.

On the other side, the Sun enter this conference tilt amid a five-game losing streak. This includes an 83-82 loss to the Portland Fire on Monday night.

Portland was called for an offensive foul on the ensuing possession, giving Connecticut one last shot. Unfortunately, Aneesah Morrow's desperation heave from halfcourt was off the mark as the game buzzer expired.
Brittney Griner led a balanced Connecticut attack in which five players reached double figures. Her final stat line included 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Aaliyah Edwards and Hailey Van Lith added 12 points each. The Sun also got 39 points from their second unit.
