After suffering a humbling 96-66 defeat at the hands of the Dallas Wings, Las Vegas has won its last two games. The most recent triumph was a 92-73 victory over the Golden State Valkyries,

The game was close early, with the Aces leading by six points after the opening quarter. But the defending champs blew the game open after that, outscoring Golden State 54-32 across the middle two frames on their way to an easy 19-point win.
Las Vegas' offense included five double-digit scorers. Jackie Young led the team with 21 points, five assists, and three rebounds on 9-of-12 shooting from the field. A'ja Wilson scored 19 points and collected nine rebounds.
The Aces enjoyed a 46-28 edge in paint points and limited Golden State to 42 percent shooting overall and 17 percent from distance.
Following a season-high eight-game win streak, the Liberty have come back down to earth, losing each of their last two contests. Their latest setback was a 98-97 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday.
New York led by as many as 17 points in the third quarter before the Sparks rallied to get within two after Breanna Stewart split a pair of free throws. On the game's final possession, Nneka Ogwumike knocked down a 3-pointer as the game clock expired to lift the Sparks to a dramatic come-from-behind victory.
Stewart tied for team-high scoring honors with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. Jonquel Jones also had 18 points, along with eight boards and three assists.
New York will travel to Las Vegas to face an opponent who has played at a high level for most of the season.
Las Vegas enters this battle as a slight 2.5-point favorite. Here's a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this contest.
The Aces are a top-five squad on offense and rank in the top 10 on defense. On the other hand, New York is fourth in both offensive and defensive ratings.
Las Vegas has been a tough out at home, going 8-2 in its last 10 at Michelob ULTRA Arena, and the Liberty are 7-3 in their previous 10 road outings. With both teams bringing elite talent to the table, the edge goes to the Aces due to home-court advantage and their ability to control the interior.
