Following a season-high four-game win streak, Indiana has regressed a bit, losing each of its last two games. Its latest setback was a 113-96 loss to the Atlanta Dream on Saturday.

After losing by seven to an Atlanta squad they faced just two days prior, Indiana held a three-point advantage at the break. However, the Fever could not capitalize on their early momentum, as they were outscored 57-37 in the second half, enabling the Dream to sweep the home-and-home set.
Caitlin Clark led four double-digit scorers with 26 points and seven assists on 11-of-18 from the field. Kelsey Mitchell finished with 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Indiana shot the ball at an efficient rate — 49 percent overall and 43 percent from 3 — but the effort was not enough to offset Atlanta's 54-34 advantage in paint points.
After splitting their first four games, the Mercury have gone 3-10 in their last 13 games. The good news is they recently ended a four-game skid with a 93-73 victory against the Seattle Storm.
Phoenix trailed by five after the opening stanza. But a 62-37 burst across the middle two frames helped the Mercury flip the game in its favor en route to a dominant 20-point win.
The Mercury's balanced offense placed six players in double figures. Kahleah Copper scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Noemie Brochant posted a double-double of 16 points and 10 assists. Phoenix's defense was remarkable, limiting the Storm to 36 percent shooting overall and just 29 percent from distance.

The Fever hold a slight 3-2 edge in the previous five meetings in this series. Even so, Indiana is 7-3 in its last 10 games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, while the Mercury have struggled on the road, winning only three of their last 10 away from home. With these trends in play, backing Indiana is the safe play here.
