The Monday Night Football game for Week 7 of the National Football League will be the first rematch of the season. In Week 1, the Philadelphia Eagles completed dominated the Washington Redskins.

Washington will look to get revenge in this matchup.  The Washington Redskins come into the game with a 3-2 record and are 1-1 on the road. Washington is coming off their narrow home win over San Francisco in Week 6.

Eagles Turning Into A Top Team

The Philadelphia Eagles have started as one of the best teams in the National Football League. In fact, the Eagles 5-1 record is the best in the NFC. Philadelphia with a win in this game would remain 2.5 games ahead of the Dallas Cowboys, who won the division a season ago. The Eagles have won four straight games since their Week 2 loss on the road at the Kansas City Chiefs.

Carson Wentz has emerged as an elite quarterback in the National Football League in just his second season. The former South Dakota State signal caller has nearly 1,600 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Wentz has found Zach Ertz as his best target with 34 receptions for 405 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Red Skins Scoring Points

The running game has seen former Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount lead the way. The Eagles running back has 390 yards and a touchdown. Philadelphia comes into the game after scoring 26 points or more in all four of their recent wins. On the season, the Eagles are scoring 27.5 points per game.

The Washington Redskins are scoring 23.4 points per game, and allowing 22.6 per game. Jordan Reed is expected to play in this game, after missing some time earlier in the season. The elite right end needs to get the receiving game going for the Redskins. Currently, Chris Thompson leads with 340 yards.

Thompson is also the top running back for Washington with 36 carries, 175 yards and 2 touchdowns. Washington will play back to back divisional games, as they host the Dallas Cowboys next week, before going on the road and taking on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8.

Betting Pick For Week 7 MNF

The Philadelphia Eagles have a really nice roster, and should win this game. It’s amazing what a quarterback that is able to take care of the football and lead the offense can do. Philadelphia was not a playoff team a season ago, and now are Super Bowl contenders heading into Week 7 of the season.

Look for the Eagles with the ability to run the football with Blount and pass the football with Wentz to win this game. Washington takes another loss, which drops them even further in the divisional standings. The final bet here is the Philadelphia Eagles -4 over the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football.
