Paul Lebowitz

Writer, Columnist

I am a sportswriter, freelance writer and novelist living in New York City. My novel, Breaking Balls was published in 2001, and I have written seven other books analyzing and previewing sports.

I have written for multiple sites in sports analysis, wagering, predictions and opinion. I was a lead analyst and primary columnist for Dimers. My work has appeared or been referenced by myriad sites and entities including Fox News, Keith Olbermann, ESPN, Arizona SportsNet, SportsNet NY, YES Network and others.

My goal is to provide objective, organized, and well-crafted analysis written in a way that is useful and entertaining for the reader whether they want to focus on statistics or unquantifiable nuance.

I’m a Mets fan, so I know about expectations being dashed and the laws of physics being violated. This adds to the breadth I can provide when assessing wagers because it’s in the back of my mind as to what can possibly go wrong and wager to account for it.

Biggest Win: $500 on a $7 player parlay

Best Betting Moment: Winning $200 on a random table tennis wager

Worst Beat: I had a free bet crafted a ludicrous 10-leg NFL parlay that would have paid $2,000. I missed it by two carries from an obscure backup running back for the Eagles.
