Arsenal Player Ratings
Kai Havertz Gets the Headlines but Leandro Trossard Excellent
Kai Havertz’s goal was his sixth in a row in all competitions. The German is in excellent form and continues to prove his critics wrong.
Although all of Arsenal’s team did well, special mention must go to Leandro Trossard, who Arteta instructed to play in the number 10 role. The Belgian was hugely influential and made the whole side tick.
Elsewhere, goalkeeper David Raya kept another clean sheet, with his defense looking equally as solid.
David Raya — 8.0
Flawless performance from Arsenal’s Spanish number one.
Jurrien Timber — 6.0
Had a good first 45 minutes but had to be subbed off at half time for Jakub Kiwior.
William Saliba — 7.0
Another excellent performance from the Frenchman. Didn’t put a foot wrong.
Gabriel — 7.0
Same as Saliba — Gabriel put in a solid performance and was never really troubled at the back.
Riccardo Calafiori — 7.0
Showed his versatility by switching from left to right back after Timber was substituted at half-time. Had a decent game and contributed at both ends of the pitch.
Thomas Partey — 6.5
Solid in midfield. Subbed off mid-way through the second-half.
Declan Rice — 7.0
Faultless in midfield. The England international kept PSG’s young and dynamic midfielders quiet all game.
Bukayo Saka — 7.5
Captain Fantastic. Took a clever free-kick at the 35-minute mark to beat Gianluigi Donnarumma and score Arsenal’s second.
Gabriel Martinelli — 7.0
Unlucky not to get himself on the scoresheet but caused problems all game.
Leandro Trossard — 8.0
Excellent link-up play throughout. Played a great cross into the box for Havertz’s opener in the first-half.
Kai Havertz — 7.5
Opened the scoring after 20 minutes with a clinical header.
Subs
- Jakub Kiwior — 6.0
- Mikel Merino — 6.0
- Gabriel Jesus – 6.0

PSG Player Ratings: A Night to Forget for Parisians
Lee Kang-In and Bradley Barcola Poor in Attack
Today’s game against Arsenal saw the whole of PSG’s squad put in a poor performance.
Enrique’s decision to leave Ousmane Dembele out for disciplinary reasons will be questioned but no player stepped up in the Frenchman’s absence.
Gianluigi Donnarumma — 3.0
Kept busy all night but couldn’t stop Arsenal’s attack from running riot.
Achraf Hakimi — 5.0
Showed glimpses of promise down PSG’s right flank but failed to produce anything that caused Arsenal problems.
Marquinhos — 5.0
Did well in moments but PSG’s captain was unable to do much to stop Arsenal from controlling the game.
Willian Pacho — 4.0
Poor performance — wasn’t the only one though.
Nuno Mendes — 3.0
Tormented by Saka throughout. A game he will want to forget.
Warren Zaire-Emery — 5.0
Looked lively in parts but was unable to get the better of Partey and Rice in midfield.
Joao Neves — 5.0
The former Benfica man will have better games.
Vitinha — 4.0
Struggled to get to grips with the pace of the game — a night to forget.
Desire Doue — 4.0
Looked a threat at times in the earlier parts of the game but ended up contributing very little.
Bradley Barcola — 4.0
Similarly to Doue, Barcola had a quiet evening when PSG needed so much more from their wide attackers.
Lee Kang-In — 2.0
So quiet we forgot he was even on the pitch.
