The Dream look to build on their high-powered offensive display against Indiana

Following a 14-point setback against the Liberty, Atlanta has won three straight. This stretch includes a 113-96 victory against the Indiana Fever on Saturday.

In the second game between these squads in a three-game span, the Dream trailed 59-56 at the break. However, the home team found its footing in the second half, outscoring its opponent 57-37, including a 28-15 advantage in the third quarter.

All five starters reached double figures for Atlanta. Rhyne Howard scored a team-high 24 points on 40 percent shooting from long range. Allisha Gray added 22 points and five rebounds.

On the heels of a performance in which they shot 50 from the field and 46 percent from deep, the Dream will attempt to sweep the season series.

Toronto is coming off a come-from-behind win over the Sun

The Tempo hit a rough patch, dropping three straight games. Fortunately, the team recently ended its skid with a 101-97 victory over the Connecticut Sun.

Despite facing an opponent with two wins under its belt, Toronto trailed by 10 points through three quarters. But Marina Mabrey's 21 points in the final frame ignited a 37-23 closing surge that carried the Tempo across the finish line.

Mabrey erupted for a game-high 37 points on 14-of-24 shooting overall and 9-for-12 from deep. Maria Conde was the bench unit's key performer, finishing with 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

The Tempo's 56 percent conversion rate from beyond the arc could loom large as it looks to avenge its earlier-season loss to Atlanta.

Dream vs Tempo WNBA Pick

Atlanta enters this battle as a massive 13.5-point favorite. Here's a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this contest.

  • The Dream are 4-1 (SU) in their previous five games.
  • Atlanta is 4-3 ATS in its last seven outings.
  • The Tempo are 2-3 (SU) in their previous five contests.
  • Toronto is 3-4 ATS in its last seven matchups.

The Dream easily defeated Toronto in their first meeting. Not only that, but Atlanta has won three of its last four, while the Tempo have dropped three of their last four. And with the Dream owning a 7–3 record in their last 10 home games, the momentum — and the matchup — tilts toward Atlanta in this spot.
