The Dream led by nine points through three quarters before Indiana rallied to pull even in the final frame. But thanks to timely plays from Rhyne Howard and Angel Reese, Atlanta came away with a hard-fought win.

Not only did every starter reach double figures, but they each scored at least 15 points as well. Reese delivered a solid performance, finishing with 21 points and 11 rebounds, marking her 10th double-double of the season.

Jordin Canada scored 18 points and handed out five assists, and Naz Hillmon contributed 17 points and four rebounds for an Atlanta squad that shot 54 percent overall and 39 percent from distance.

Indiana will attempt to regroup following its high-scoring loss

The Fever reeled off four straight wins following a 5-5 start. That streak came to an end, though, when they dropped a 108-101 decision to Atlanta.

Indiana got off to a solid start and held a five-point advantage after the opening period. The early momentum was short-lived, as the Dream flipped an early deficit into a 13-point lead in the second half.

But thanks to a 9-0 run, the Fever battled back to pull even at 93. Unfortunately, the rally fell short as turnovers down the stretch enabled the road team to take a 99-95 lead at the 2:08 mark. And Reese's three-point play with 23 seconds remaining sealed the win for Atlanta.

Caitlin Clark tied for team-high scoring honors with 26 points, along with seven assists. Kelsey Mitchell also had 26 points on a 3-for-7 effort from beyond the arc. The Fever committed 17 turnovers, which led to 22 points for the opposition, and were outscored in the paint 60-46.

Dream vs Fever WNBA Pick

Riding a two-game win streak, Atlanta enters this duel as a 5.5-point favorite. Here's a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this contest.

  • The Dream are 4-1 (SU) in their previous five games.
  • Atlanta is 15-8 ATS in its last 23 outings.
  • The Fever are 4-1 (SU) in their previous five contests.
  • Indiana is 3-4 ATS in its last seven matchups.

Given Atlanta's balanced scoring attack and the ability to create turnovers โ€” paired with Indiana's uneven performance on defense โ€” the edge goes to the Dream in this Eastern Conference showdown.
