Czechia and Mexico face off in another key Group A matchup. Mexico has been riding the energy of their home crowd so far, and enters as the favorite to earn the victory in this game against Czechia.

Czechia returns to the World Cup for the first time since 2006, hoping to earn an upset win and advance to the 32-team expanded knockout stage. They'll be playing what feels like a road game in this one, which will make things especially difficult. In order to have a chance at pulling off the upset, Czechia will need to play to their absolute best ability as the #43 ranked team in the world.
Mexico shutout South Africa in a physical first match of the tournament. They're already in good shape to advance to the knockout stage after the 2-0 victory, but can further better their position with a win. Playing in front of a passionate home crowd has added some extra juice to a Mexico team that already ranks #13 in the world. A strong run could net them a trip to the quarterfinals or further.
Despite ranking 30 spots above Czechia in the world rankings, Mexico received a very moderate line of -120 in this game. With their home crowd rocking the stadium yet again, they should have a huge advantage. Expect Mexico to jump ahead early and win by a similar score to their 2-0 victory over South Africa, making this a worthwhile line to take.
