Bosnia faces off with Qatar in a key Group B clash. Both teams are hoping to exceed expectations and earn a trip to the knockout stage. The loser of this one will find themselves in a precarious spot.

Bosnia opened the tournament with a solid 1-1 draw against a higher-ranked Canada squad. They've been an excellent defensive team this year, entering the World Cup playing better than their #63 world ranking would indicate. Now setup well to avoid the bottom-16 and advance to the 32-team knockout stage. Bosnia will look to steal another victory in their most winnable game of the group stage against Qatar.
Qatar went winless in the 2022 FIFA World Cup that they hosted, but qualified without the host tag this time around. They're a toss-up to advance past the group stage, needing a strong result in this game against a Bosnia team that sits 7 spots behind them in the world ranking. In order to achieve that historic first victory, Qatar will need to find a way to break through Bosnia's stellar defenses.
Although Qatar sits higher in the current FIFA rankings, Bosnia enters this game as the favorite to win. Their recent play is hard to overlook and their defense is a good matchup for a Qatar team that lacks a consistent offensive attack. Look for Bosnia to establish their shutdown defense early and keep Qatar scoreless in what should be close to a 2-0 victory.
