The pulsating action in the Eastern Conference Finals continues on May 25, as Game 3 will see the Montreal Canadiens have home ice advantage against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The series is level ahead of this week’s clash in Montreal, the Canes leveled the scores with a nervy overtime success on Saturday.

The Montreal Canadiens will be back on home ice this Monday, as they aim to re-take the lead in the series against the Carolina Hurricanes. Martin St. Louis’ side have been reliable at Bell Centre, going 24-15-2.
However, it is worth noting that many of their best results this term have come on the road. Josh Anderson was the standout player in the team’s recent loss to the Canes, scoring both goals in the 3-2 OT loss. Phillip Danault ended the night with two assists.
Saturday’s Game 2 was crucial for the Carolina Hurricanes, as a loss would have given the Canadiens an opportunity to seal progression in back-to-back home games. Carolina showed their character to eventually steal the win in overtime after failing to see out a 2-1 advantage in regulation.
Jalen Chatfield was a crucial player in the win, ending the night with two assists. Meanwhile, Eric Robinson and Mark Jankowski scored the goals in the dramatic win. Frederik Andersen was pivotal in the Canes goal, making ten saves from 12 shots.
