The final match at Dignity Health Sports Park before the FIFA World Cup is set for May 23, as the LA Galaxy host Houston Dynamo.
The visitors have shown reliable recent form after winning three of their last four, but the Galaxy have also improved in 2026, and they will be chasing successive wins on Saturday.

The early signs are looking promising for the LA Galaxy this season, as they bid to re-establish themselves as playoff contenders. They come into this round of matches in reliable recent form, with their win over the Seattle Sounders last Saturday meaning that they have now avoided defeat in four of their last five.
Their attacking quality has also caught the eye so far this season, as they have scored at least twice in three of their previous five. Gabriel Pec has been a reliable performer this season, with the Brazilian recording nine goal involvements in 13 appearances.

The Houston Dynamo will also be leading playoff contenders this season, and plenty of positives can be drawn from their recent outings after winning three of their last four. They showed excellent character to bounce back from a 3-0 loss last weekend after overcoming the Vancouver Whitecaps last Saturday.
However, morale may have been negatively impacted in midweek following a penalty shootout loss in the U.S. Open Cup. But, the Dynamo should be hard to break down after keeping three clean sheets in their last five across all competitions.
