Orlando built a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter and appeared on its way to an easy victory. But as the saying goes, no lead is safe in today’s NBA. Detroit rallied to take its first lead of the second half following a pair of free throws from Cade Cunningham. Fortunately, the Magic were able to seal the deal with a 9-0 run over the final 2:52.

Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane powered the Magic’s offense, with each pouring in 25 points. Banchero tallied nine assists, while Bane converted multiple key buckets to help stem the Pistons’ momentum.

On the other side, Cunningham produced a game-high 27 points but shot 8-for-23 from the field and committed nine turnovers. Tobias Harris scored 23 points and collected seven rebounds.

Can Orlando push Detroit to the brink, or will Detroit reclaim the home-court advantage before the venue shifts back to the Motor City?
