A huge match in the history of West Ham is set for Sunday, as the Hammers must beat Leeds and hope Tottenham lose against Everton if they are to avoid relegation.
The Hammers have been on the brink of relegation after suffering defeats in their previous three, but an early goal on Sunday could put huge pressure on their relegation rivals.

Last weekend’s 3-1 loss at Newcastle felt like the end of the road for West Ham, but they were given a lifeline in midweek after Chelsea beat Tottenham. The Hammers can only win and hope results go their way this weekend, and their record on the final day is encouraging.
West Ham have lost just one of their last 19 final day fixtures when playing at home. Jarrod Bowen will be crucial to the team’s chances this weekend, as the forward has assisted eight of West Ham’s last 12 Premier League goals.

Daniel Farke has done an excellent job at Leeds this season, as their survival has been assured for a few weeks. The Whites have enjoyed a reliable end to the season, avoiding defeat in their last eight. This is their longest run since going 13 without defeat in November 2001.
Leeds also have a fine record on the final day, losing just two of their last 15 matchday 38 clashes in the Premier League. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been one of the signings of the season, with the Englishman scoring 14 EPL goals for the Whites this term.

West Ham already looked like a beaten team at Newcastle last weekend, and that mentality could be hard to overlook this weekend. We could foresee their chances of survival ending without relying on other results, with in-form Leeds good value to record an away win at the London Stadium.
