Furthermore, they netted just 19 times, which was their fewest tally since qualifying for the 2006 World Cup.
Their form over the last 12 months has been largely inconsistent to say the least, and they will be aiming to bounce back after failing to make it out of the group in the Copa America this summer. Over their last ten internationals, Chile have recorded just two wins, and they come into this qualifier after suffering a 1-0 loss against Argentina in the Copa America.
