Lille vs. Sturm Graz

Sturm Graz have never won an away match against a French team in five previous meetings. Lille have been in excellent form in the competition to this point, winning six of their last eight in the Champions League group stage.

That excellent record looks set to continue based on the away record of the Austrian side, as they have lost eleven of their 14 matches on the road in the competition.

AC Milan vs. Red Star

AC Milan are unbeaten across their six previous encounters with Red Star, but they have won on just two occasions. Red Star have won on just one of their 14 visits to Italy in Europe.

Milan come into this round after winning each of their last three, and they are chasing four straight victories for the first time since 2005. The Italian giants have been in fine attacking form, netting at least three goals in each of their last three matches. Another big win could be on the cards.

Benfica vs. Bologna

A first meeting between Benfica and Bologna is set for this week. The Portuguese side upset the odds to come from behind to beat Monaco on matchday five, but they have a poor home record after winning just once in their last six.

Bologna’s lack of attacking threat is evident by the fact that they are the only side in the competition yet to take a lead this term. Given that fact, it’s highly likely that Benfica will make their home advantage count on Wednesday.

Stuttgart vs. Young Boys

Stuttgart have lost their last two matches in the Champions League, despite making a strong start to the competition in terms of their performance levels. Their home winless run is now at eight matches in Europe since beating Odense in the Europa League in 2010.

However, Young Boys haven’t won a match on the road in the Champions League since August 1960. Stuttgart should prove to have the quality to get a rare home win this week.

Feyenoord vs. Sparta Prague

Feyenoord are winless in four against Sparta Prague, but the Czech side have failed to win in four visits to the Netherlands since a win against Feyenoord in October 2001.

The Dutch hosts have one of the most entertaining sides in the competition to this point, with their matches seeing the third-most goals scored. Sparta’s form since matchday one is hard to ignore, as they have conceded 14 goals and scored just twice. The preference is for the Dutch hosts.
