Cristiano Ronaldo and his Juventus posted another win, while AC Milan took only one point form Florence.

Ronaldo’s Magical Form

Although not being that young anymore, Cristiano Ronaldo is still able to create magic. And not only that, the Portuguese is reaching records in one of the top competitions in the world.

His Juventus defeated SPAL on the road with 1:2, with Cristiano scoring the opening goal of the game, and carving his name in the Serie A history books.

One of the best-ever players netted in the 39th minute, once Cuadrado sent a perfect cross towards him. CR was on the edge of the goalkeeper area and routinely placed the ball behind SPAL’s goalkeeper.

What is so important is the fact that he scored in the 11th straight league game, tying the record held by Gabriel Batistuta and Fabio Quagliarella. This was his 1000th match in career and 725th goal.

With 42 hits, he reached Rui Costa as the best scorer from Portugal. Yet, Costa needed 339 games for this, while CR played just 52.

The second goal for the Old Lady came after one hour of play. Aaron Ramsey was the executor, following Paulo Dybala’s assist.

SPAL responded nine minutes later, when Andrea Petagna converted a penalty. The hosts tried to come back completely, but that didn’t succeed, as they couldn’t create a single good opportunity.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo struck the bar from the free kick in the 85th minute.

AC Milan Takes One Point From Florence

Rossoneri took one point from a tough challenge, after 90 minutes of a hard fight. However, we need to say that guests form San Siro have a lot to regret for, as they allowed a goal with a player more on the pitch.

Fiorentina’s Dalbert was sent off in the 62nd minute. He was the last player of the defense when making a foul, which is why the referee Gianpaolo Calvarese didn’t have the slightest doubt about his punishment.

The home team played better in the beginning with Gaetano Castrovilli having the first attempt to bat Donnarumma. Milan woke up and started performing better. Zlatan scored a goal in the 34th minute, but after the VAR check, the officials overturned the call, making the Swedish international furious.

After that came a considerable handicap for AC Milan because Donnarumma picked up an injury and had to go out. Still, it were the guests who reached the lead first, with Ante Rebic being the scorer in the 56th minute. He sent a shot towards Viola’s net, and it deflected one of the home team’s players finishing past the goalkeeper.

Milan added another score, but it too was canceled, only this one was because of an offside.

The equalizer took place in the 84th minute, following a penalty. Alessio Romagnoli, the captain of the Devils, made a bad choice, which cost his team three points. Erick Pulgar didn’t have any problems to beat Asmir Begovic, who replaced the injured Donnarumma.

Juventus is still first with 60 points and a game more than Lazio with 56 and Inter 55. Milan is seventh, with 36, and Fiorentina 12 with 29.
