The exciting action in the Premier League for the 2024-25 season kicks off this weekend, as the battles commence at both ends of the English top-flight standings. Man City will be the red-hot favorites to win a fifth straight title in the Premier League, but you can find the latest odds and our picks for a top four finish below.

Before Betting On Premier League Top Four

One of the most interesting battles in the Premier League throughout the course of the season comes in the form of the race for a top four finish. This season, fifth could also be enough to secure a Champions League spot, but teams with aspirations of playing in the premier European competition will want a top-four finish to ensure the security of playing in the major tournament.

Man City and Arsenal are widely expected to fill the top two places in the Premier League standings once again this term, and their battle for the English top-flight title could once again go down to the wire. Therefore, we expect both to comfortably secure their Champions League qualification in 2024-25.

The battle to join the top two in the top four already appears to be an interesting battle. Liverpool look a strong contender once again, despite the departure of Jurgen Klopp. It hasn’t been an ideal summer for Arne Slot to this point, as the Reds remain the only club that are yet to make a signing. They will need to do something in the market in the midfield area to enhance their top four aspirations.

Aston Villa upset the odds to gain Champions League qualification last term, and Unai Emery has done an excellent job at Villa Park. However, their involvement in the European competition could stretch their squad, meaning that we are happy to overlook them in the top four betting. Chelsea have spent big, and questions can be asked of Enzo Maresca’s defensive play. Therefore, they are another team that we struggle to see breaking back into the top four.

Man United will need to make a quick start under Erik Ten Hag this term after a disappointing eighth-place finish last term. However, the club have signed well this summer, and we could see them finishing fourth.

Tottenham are the team that we could see finishing third. Dominic Solanke adds a forward presence that they missed last term, and they are much better value at the prices than siding with questionable selections such as Chelsea and Newcastle.
