South Carolina was all but written off after their 27-3 loss to Ole Miss. Expected to be a middling SEC team, the 3-2 Gamecocks were hardly in CFP contention. However, a narrow 2-point loss to Alabama on the road ignited something within South Carolina. Since then, they are 3-0 with strong wins over Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
