The FA Cup continues this weekend, as the fourth round gets underway on Friday night. There are some exciting ties, with the standout one seeing National League North side Kidderminster Harriers coming up against Premier League giants West Ham United. Shocks could be in store this weekend, but which picks should soccer fans be making on the action this weekend?

Potential Giant Killings

When it comes to giant killings this weekend, it would be hard to look past the lowest ranked side left in the competition welcoming West Ham United. Kidderminster Harriers play their soccer in the National League North, and will be looking for one of the greatest ever FA Cup shocks this weekend. The Harriers overcame Championship side Reading in the previous round, and have been solid at home in the competition this term, winning five of their previous six.

Kidderminster have hosted West Ham in the cup previously, as the Hammers ran out 1-0 winners in the 1993-94 season. Those interested in the home win can get +1200, but the Hammers to win 1-0 may be the most likely outcome once again at +650.

The other big shock in the third round came at St James’ Park, as League One side Cambridge United beat the richest club in England 1-0. They have a home tie against Luton Town this weekend, and are narrow outsiders at +275.

There isn’t any reason why Cambridge can’t continue their solid form in the FA Cup this season, and their chances are boosted as they play in front of a vocal home support. However, Luton have been strong in recent weeks in the Championship, and could be the better value play in this fixture, as they are priced up at +105.

Heavyweights Expected To Sail Through

The FA Cup weekend gets underway at Old Trafford, as Manchester United welcome Middlesbrough. United beat Aston Villa 1-0 in the third round, and should have more than enough quality to edge past Boro, as they look to end their dry spell without silverware. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 13 against Boro, which means that they stand a solid chance at -300.

Chelsea should also face few issues in making it through to the next round, as they come up against League One Plymouth on Saturday. It’s the first meeting between the sides since the Blues won 1-0 in 1989. However, we expect more that 2.5 goals in this fixture on Saturday.

Manchester City welcome Fulham on Saturday too, as the two sides at the top of the Premier League and Championship clash. Both have been in remarkable form in front of goal in recent weeks, which means that we will be looking for extra value than simply the -700 on the City win. Instead, we would be willing to take the +137 on City to win and both teams to score. Fulham will certainly look to attack City, as they have scored 13 goals in their previous four fixtures in the Championship.
