A three-game slide dropped New York to 3-4. However, the team has responded with wins in each of its last three outings. This bounce-back stretch includes a 97-82 win over the Toronto Tempo on Wednesday.

The Liberty trailed 20-17 after the first quarter. But a 53-38 edge over the middle two quarters propelled the home team to a convincing victory on its home court.
New York's offense produced five double-digit scorers. Jonquel Jones led the charge with a double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds. Breanna Stewart contributed 19 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
On the other side, Indiana had dropped two straight following a three-game win streak. Fortunately, the team bounced back with an 83-71 victory against the Atlanta Dream.
Indiana held a nine-point advantage at intermission before the Dream stormed back to take a 43-42 lead at the 6:15 mark in the third quarter, prompting head coach Stephanie White to call a timeout. When the action resumed, the Fever responded with 16 straight points to take a 58-43 lead and never looked back.
Kelsey Mitchell scored a game-high 25 points, including 11 straight during the game-changing run in the third quarter. Aliyah Boston added 19 points and seven boards, while Caitlin Clark contributed 17 points, eight dimes, and seven boards.
Indiana’s defense delivered its sharpest effort of the season, holding Atlanta to just 71 points, its lowest total allowed all year. The Dream never found a rhythm, shooting 34% from the field and 6‑for‑21 from deep, a cold spell that defined the night.
