The final day of the Premier League season will see a dead rubber between Fulham and Newcastle at Craven Cottage on May 24.
Marco Silva’s Fulham will be aiming to end the campaign on a positive after losing two of their last three, while the Magpies have returned to form with two victories over the same period.
Following a 1-0 win over Aston Villa at the start of the month, there was real hope that Fulham could finish the 2025-26 season in a European place. However, their performance levels have dropped since that success, failing to win in their previous three, and playing out a draw at relegated Wolves last weekend.
Wins on the final day of the season have been a rarity for the Cottagers, claiming wins in just one of their previous eight. However, a draw could also be easy to overlook, as no side have played out fewer home ties than Fulham in 2025-26 (2).

It has been a disappointing season overall for Eddie Howe’s Newcastle, as they have failed to finish the campaign in a European spot. However, positives can be drawn from their performances in the final weeks of the season after winning two of their previous three.
But, their away performances have hindered their progression this term, winning just two of their eight matches on the road in 2026. William Osula is a star in red-hot form, netting six goals in his last eight starts.

Newcastle have gone seven without defeat when playing their final away match of the season in London. Meanwhile, the Magpies have also won six of their last eight against the Cottagers. Therefore, an away win could make the most appeal when making picks.
