Matchday two in Group E at this year’s FIFA World Cup will see Germany and the Ivory Coast collide.
There will likely be huge pressure on both nations in Toronto, as this matchup will come at a crucial stage, with both likely fighting for one of the qualifying positions in the standings.

There will be huge pressure on Julian Nagelsmann and his players this summer, as Germany look to avoid crashing out in the group stage at the World Cup for the third straight tournament.
Plenty of positives can be taken from their recent form, as DFB have won their last nine internationals. Their high-quality attacking players have ensured that at least two goals have been scored in their last six, which includes a 2-1 win over the USA before the start of the tournament.
Getting the best out of creative talents Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz will be key to their chances, and both stars should be fresh after recently returning from lengthy injury absences.

The Ivory Coast could yet rival Germany for top spot in the Group E standings. The nation boasts an excellent recent record on the pitch, with their statement win coming before the start of the World Cup after beating France.
Their main talents are found at the top of the pitch, headlined by the highly-regarded Yan Diomande. The Ivorian registered 20 goal involvements for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga last season, and is linked with a big-money move this summer.
Other talented players in the final third include Man United’s Amad Diallo, who was among the scorers against France, and Elye Wahi, who scored five goals in 15 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
Germany are expected to dominate the ball in this clash, but they could be vulnerable in the transition against a rival that boasts plenty of pace on the counterattack. Therefore, a shock win for the Ivory Coast could be an interesting betting angle in Toronto.
