The Seahawks and Falcons face off in an NFC clash this week. Seattle is in the midst of a hyper competitive 3-way division battle, while Atlanta has fallen apart over the last month and change.

The Seahawks regained a share of the NFC West lead on Sunday, after dominating the Vikings and winning 26-0. Seattle now holds the NFL's best point differential at +133, though the 2nd place team is the Rams within the division at +124. With both the 9-3 Rams and 9-4 49ers on their heels, Seattle has no room for error. They will enter this game in Atlanta seeking their 3rd win in a row and 10th of the season.

The Falcons hit rock bottom on Sunday, losing to the Jets and falling to 4-8. They hold a 1-6 record over the past two months, tanking any chance of making the postseason they had. The absence of QB Michael Penix Jr. has made things difficult for Atlanta, but they have problems all across the board. They will be forced to decide whether to make one last push or to instead start thinking about next year's NFL Draft.

Seattle and Atlanta meet in a battle of the birds for this one. The Seahawks hold a notable advantage as the stronger team, but I'd be wary of betting on them to cover the spread in Atlanta. Despite their league-best point differential, Seattle hasn't been as consistent on the road. Combined with Atlanta's desperation for a win in this game, and I think this one stays within one score. I see Seattle winning but not covering.
